Custom solutions, on the other hand, are fully tailored to the building’s architecture and offer maximum flexibility in terms of dimensions, material selection, and finish. Mailboxes can be integrated into walls, furniture, or complete entryway concepts, creating a unique and distinctive look for each project.
Forward / Forward / Backward:
When it comes to mailboxes, the choice of design plays an important role in terms of usage and logistics. For example, there is the front-in/front-out solution, where both deposit and retrieval take place on the same side. This system is most commonly used in smaller complexes and situations where simplicity and direct accessibility are key.
In addition, there is the front-in/back-out (through-feed) solution, in which the mail carrier inserts the mail on one side and residents retrieve it on the other. This provides greater privacy and more efficient logistics and is particularly well-suited for larger buildings or complexes with separate walkways. In specific cases, such as enclosed spaces, custom variants are also available that are fully tailored to the routing within the building. The final choice often depends on security, accessibility, and the desired level of user convenience.
