Production process mailboxes
Are you curious how a mailbox is actually made? Then read on quickly!
Oostwoud mailboxes are everywhere; offices, schools, health care institutions, but also apartment buildings. But how is a mailbox actually produced? We will show you today.
The whole production process takes place in our factory in Franeker where all orders come in. First, metal sheets are cut to size by means of rolls, then all loose parts are assembled at our welding department. After it has been welded, the product really starts to take shape, so the product can go straight to our own powder coating plant and be provided with every possible color.

After the product is given the correct color, it arrives at the assembly department. Here the cabinet is assembled and finished with locks, nameplates and letter covers.
Finally, all quality checks are done so we can be sure everything is absolutely right.
After the entire production process, we deliver the mailbox safely to your location and perform the assembly.
